Epidavros (also known as Epidaurus), in the prefecture of Argolis, Greek Peloponnese, is particular known for the ancient classical Greek Theatre of Epidavros, one of the best preserved ancient theatres in Greece. Also the ruins of the Sanctuary of Asclepius, once revered as a place of miraculous healing, lie in serene surroundings.
